Sandalwood Or Fir
Chandan and Signature Santal are the two sandalwood scents. Fraser Fir is the evergreen, with fir and pine needles.
Clean Or Smoky
Barber Shop is the cleanest, with bergamot, lemon peel, talc and vetiver. Pure Leather and Black Suede are the smokiest, with smoky bergamot in one and soft smoke in the other.

Two Ways To Use Every Bottle
Each bottle can also be used as a room spray with the included fine mist attachment. Because the formula is concentrated and oil-based, a light spray is all you need to fill a room. Avoid spraying directly on leather, vinyl, wood, or painted surfaces, and be cautious over bare floors which can become slippery with repeated use.
What Makes A Scent Woody
Woody scents come from dry materials such as sandalwood, cedar, vetiver, leather and resin. They are rarely sweet, which is the main difference from vanilla and gourmand scents.
Most scents here lean on one or two of them. Signature Santal has cedar, Barber Shop has vetiver, and Black Suede has olibanum, a resin, alongside suede and saffron.
If you are new to woody scents, Signature Santal is the easiest place to start. It has no smoke, it opens with lemon peel, and it is commonly chosen for living rooms and home offices.

Tips For Using Woody Scents
Alternate The Two Sandalwoods
Switch between Signature Santal and Chandan every few weeks in the same room, so the room does not smell exactly the same all season.
Go Lower When The Fire Is Lit
A fireplace adds its own wood smoke. Run Black Suede or Pure Leather on a lower setting those nights, since both already have some smoke in them.
Try Leather In A Small Bottle First
Leather and suede are more a matter of taste than sandalwood. Try Pure Leather or Black Suede in 4 oz. before moving to a larger bottle.

What is the difference between Chandan and Signature Santal?
Chandan is rich, earthy sandalwood on its own. Signature Santal is drier and more layered, with cedar, cardamom, iris, violet and amber after a lemon peel opening.
Are leather scents too heavy for everyday use?
That depends on your taste. Pure Leather is commonly chosen for home offices and dens, and Black Suede for dens and living rooms. For an everyday woody scent in a bedroom, Chandan is the easier choice.
Is Fraser Fir only for Christmas?
No. Fir and pine needle suit entryways and living rooms from fall through the end of winter, not only in December.
Why is Midnight Pearl in the woody collection?
Midnight Pearl is built on black amber, which gives it the same depth as the darker scents here. Oceanic ozone and mandarin sit on top, so it is the choice for a dark scent that is not built on wood.
Do all of these woody scents come in 4 oz.?
All except Midnight Pearl, which comes in 8.5 oz. and 24 oz. only. The other six come in 4 oz., 8.5 oz. and 24 oz., and none of the seven come in 1 gallon.
