Finding Your Cozy Scent
Bakery Or Woods
Cozy scents split into two families. The bakery side is Apple Cinnamon, Gingerbread, Pumpkin Spice and the vanillas. The woodsy side is Chandan, Signature Santal, Rouge Royale, Black Suede and Pure Leather.
Sweet Or Spiced
Confetti Vanilla Cupcake and Cotton Candy are the sweetest. Lavender Spice and Pumpkin Spice lean on cinnamon, cardamom, clove and nutmeg instead of sugar.
Room By Room
Bakery scents belong near the kitchen and family room. The woods suit living rooms and dens in the evening, and the softer vanillas suit bedrooms.
Two Ways To Use Every Bottle
Each bottle can also be used as a room spray with the included fine mist attachment. Because the formula is concentrated and oil-based, a light spray is all you need to fill a room. Avoid spraying directly on leather, vinyl, wood, or painted surfaces, and be cautious over bare floors which can become slippery with repeated use.
Why Cozy Scents Are Warm
The scents people call cozy are almost always warm ones: cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, vanilla, caramel, coffee and sandalwood. Very few are cool or green.
Many of them borrow from the kitchen. Baked apple, gingerbread and pumpkin spice read as something just out of the oven, which is why they are so closely tied to fall and the holidays. Caffè Latte and Pistachio and Salted Caramel bring the coffeehouse and the dessert case into the same family.
